PACC CourtyardThe Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center, formerly the Courthouse Galleries, seeks proposals for the 2013 Outdoor Sculpture Display within our brick garden courtyard.  

Juror for the 2013 exhibit is Amy Brandt, the McKinnon Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Chrysler Museum of Art.  Her previous curatorial positions include the Brooklyn Museum, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the American Federation of the Arts.

 

 

Proposals must be postmarked by
October 24, 2012

Artist Awards include Juror’s Choice at $1,500, Seawall Award at $1,000, Brancusi Award at $500, People’s Choice at $500 and Honorable Mention at $200. 

Travel stipends are provided to all selected artists for installation and removal.

The exhibition is open to artists 18 years or older.  Artists who are working independently or as a group may enter.  Each artist or group may submit up to five existing works that have been completed within the last five years and not already presented at the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center.
